I had an excellent matcha latte but the best part was the friendliness of the young man and woman working there. I was elated to find a dairy free, gluten free piece of pumpkin cake. Delicious. The young man told me about Jovial gluten free pasta. I agree, I like it better than regular pasta😁. Thanks for a delightful visit.

Sometimes “local” can mean “we know the owners “ and it might not be that good. BLACK LODGE IS THAT GOOD… and then some! Alex and his team are lovely- just what you want in a small town coffee shop. He will share where his inspiration came from on this drink or that drink- all while greeting each local, by name. They also specialize in teas which are just that, special. Try them all!

We needed to stretch and grab a coffee and explore someplace unique on our “scenic trip” home from St Louis to Dayton OH after the 4rth holiday. This unique coffee shop in a unique town of Harmony IN definitely did the trick! We had two wonderful cappuccinos and a slice of quiche. The staff were friendly as was the atmosphere .. and they currently have Sunday hours.. Stop by and Enjoy.

My wife and I were in town for a weekend get away for our upcoming anniversary and her birthday. We stopped twice on our trip and had great service and my wife said it was absolutely two of the best cups of coffee that she has ever had. Would highly recommend coming here for the atmosphere and coffee and tea that they offer. We will definitely be back when in town again.

Absolutely otherworldly! Class A service, delectable selections, beautifully situated cafe perfect for sitting outside with a cuppa in the sunshine. The team here is amazing and goes above and beyond. They support local artists too, and the twin peaks theme is a fun twist. The best cafe in posey county bar none.

The friendliest coffee & specialty tea shop that I’ve visited. A must visit during your visit to New Harmony. Go in for coffee or tea & come out with a smile! Vanilla latte is my favorite. They serve seasonal food-sandwiches, soup or muffins. Closed Wednesdays.

I was visiting a friend in the area to see the awesome eclipse, and heard about a local coffee roaster while visiting the Athenaeum. Being a sucker for local coffee roasters (and down to my last bag of beans while traveling) I stopped in. Unfortunately they had just closed! Disaster! Smooshing my face against the window they must have noticed my sorrow, because when they unlocked to let out one of the last customers, they let me in! Unexpected! Rescued! I bought 2 bags of the bean they had on tap, and would have been disappointed had I bought only one. There are now 5 places where I will buy coffee beans- Moab Coffee Roasters, Curve Coffee Roasters(Moab), Joshua Tree Coffee Company, Yellow Brick Coffee (Tucson) and Black Lodge Coffee Company. The staff are clever with the banter, the setting is welcoming, the coffee is "ahhhhh, yes. Just what I was looking for!" Worth the trip of the I-64 Interstate! A most excellent adventure!

This place is hands down the best coffee house in the area. Everyone there makes you feel special from the moment you step in the door. Alex, the owner, takes such pride in not only his coffee but also his staff, and it’s easy to see why. They are all such amazing people there. You go in for the coffee but the experience takes it all above and beyond. Pricing is great too. You won’t find another coffee house like this anywhere.

Randomly found this place this past weekend and loved it! The atmosphere is so unique and fun and there are a ton of drink options that I had never heard of before. There was only one guy working, but he was super friendly and took time to explain everything to us in detail and got our drinks out fast. As we were leaving, a ton of people were coming in but he didn't seem overwhelmed and was happy to do everything himself. Really appreciated him!
