Every time that we travel to New Harmony, we have to go to Black Lodge for multiple cups of coffee. It is a great place with a great atmosphere. Alex and his staff are second to none and ALWAYS make us feel welcome. I have told many people that a cup of coffee from Black Lodge is well worth the trip or the order. I always look forward to ALL things Black Lodge Coffee. You will not be disappointed...Thank you Alex for what you and your staff do. Our trip to New Harmony is always special when we get to visit Black Lodge. Keep it going...One cup at a time.

Wonderful Shop. Wonderful staff. I love the small town coffee shop feel. The small town customers. I stopped in from out of town (STL) and I heard the owners and staff talk to their regulars and it’s such a lovely thing! I have such a soft spot for this soft, slow life, small town atmosphere. Highly recommend!

The moment you walk in, the cozy, rustic-industrial interior sets the perfect vibe. It’s family-friendly, welcoming, and the staff are genuinely some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. Whether you're taking a date somewhere special, stopping in on a road trip, or just looking for a place to relax with a great cup of coffee, this place delivers. And the scones? My husband and I stopped by on a cross-country trip. What a delightful experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I have a service dog, KJ, who was welcomed as well. We chose lattes with bourbon barrel stout syrup (locally made) and tried the peach pie bar and a berry muffin. The lattes and pastries were exceptional! The owner, Alex, talked to us about local history and we shared personal stories which made the visit very meaningful and special. We would love to have stayed for the town’s Firefly Festival (happening that evening) but had to continue on our journey. We love Black Lodge Coffee Roasters and will be back on our future journeys ❤️
